Progressing from the Babies’ programme, we continue to expose our children to a range of experiences, textures, sounds and feelings.
Through fun, play-based activities, we introduce subjects such as science, maths, physical education, geography, language and more. We do this through experiments, meaningful activities and different types of play. These will serve to exercise creativity, hone motor skills, and give them a strong sense of self, each other and their environment.
Toddlers participate in activities to build their independence and life-skills. Some examples of activities we engage in are food exploration, role-plays, exploration of natural materials, learning about numbers and sounds, and gross motor activities.
To continue independence training, our toddlers help to prepare their meals and pack down after meal times also.
Our toddlers’ progress is monitored through observation-based and intentionally placed assessments, so that we can build on their strengths and support their development.
